Send an admin message
You can send an admin message to a channel on Sendbird Dashboard or using Chat Platform API.
To send an admin message to an open channel through your dashboard, go to Chat > Open channels, select an open channel from the list, find the message box at the bottom of the page, select the Admin message tab, and then type your message in the box. The maximum length of an admin message is 1,000 characters.
To send an admin message to a group channel through your dashboard, go to Chat > Group channels, select a group channel from the list, find the message box at the bottom of the page, select the Admin message tab, and then type your message in the box. The maximum length of an admin message is 1,000 characters. You can send a push notification for the message by selecting the box next to Send push notification.
Alternatively, for both open and group channels, you can send an admin message from outside the chat view by navigating to the channel list under Chat > Open channels or Chat > Group channels and selecting the box by the channel you are going to send the admin message to. After selecting Admin message, you can enter your message to the text box.
