Deprecated

This page lists all the deprecated APIs and features in Sendbird Chat. They're only supported for customers who started using them before deprecation.

Explicit and classic block modes

Block modes in group channels, explicit mode and classic mode, are both deprecated. Sendbird application now provides two blocking options instead: excluding blocked users when sending invitations and turning off push notifications from blocked users. Refer to the block users page to learn more.
